FAQs

1. What makes millet-based products healthier than regular options?

Millets are naturally gluten-free, rich in fiber, packed with essential nutrients, and have a lower glycemic index than refined grains — making them a smart choice for sustained energy, digestion, and overall wellness.

2. Do I need to ferment the batter?

No — the mix is already pre-fermented. Just add water, rest for a few minutes, and steam soft, fluffy idlis without any extra prep.

3. Is it easy to digest?

Very. The millets are soaked for over 6 hours before processing — this improves digestion and enhances nutrient absorption.

4. Is this idli mix diabetic-friendly?

Yes. Barnyard Millet has a naturally low glycemic index, which helps manage blood sugar levels and makes it suitable for diabetic-friendly diets.

5. How many idlis can I make from one pack?

You can prepare approximately 15–17 idlis from a 175g pack, depending on the mould size and batter consistency.
